Oerlikon Textiles acquired 8000 sqm in Makarpura Industrial area to set up a Customer service center in year 2015. Oerlikon is a leading machine manufacturer for the man made fibres segement and in India they provide customer service for their machines supplied from Germany. Oerlikon wanted to construct a facility which will be conveying their image of a German Engineering company. S&T was appointed to carry out architectural, civil & structural, civil utilities, electrical and HVAC design. In addition to that S&T also provided services related to construction supervision and project management. The actual construction began in December 2015 and the project was completed in all respect in end January 2017. The customer brief of exposed concrete and bricks with glass has been very expressed in the design. S&T partnered with Kontexture – Phenix for the conceptualization of the design.
